03:15 p.m. Lecture by Prof. Ivan Mladenov Идея, Отношение и Точност (Idea, Relation and Precision) with the participation of all members of the ISAPS.

04:30 p.m. International presentation of ISAPS in Darmstadt held on January 31, 2025. Short video.

04:45-6:00 p.m. Giovanni Maddalena presents his book Philosophy of Gesture translated from Italian by Elitza Popova, member of the ISAPS. In cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture.

Call for Applications – Project-based PhD Positions

The Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IPS-BAS) is pleased to invite applications for three project-based PhD positions within its Project 101183817 – ProSkills2Work – Progressing Promising Skills to Work in Bulgaria, implemented by the IPS and funded by the Horizon Europe.

Make it Strong: Building a Resilient Europe

Prof. Rumyana Stoilova, Assoc. Prof. Petya Ilieva-Trichkova and Martin Velichkov, all from IPS-BAS, are the authors of a report published recently. The report uses data from major European research infrastructures – the European Social Survey (ESS), the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) and the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) – within the project Building a Resilient Europe | Infra4NextGen.
