Petya holds a masters in Polish and Bulgarian Philology from the Sofia University. She is PhD in Sociology and Chief Assistant in IFS-BAS. Petya works on the topics of labor and civil society, science and media, etc.
In her scientific work she collaborates actively with HomeNet Eastern Europe and Central Asia and the global network of home workers. The spark of her scientific interest ignites from her previous work as a communications expert in an NGOs such as KNSB, UNICEF Bulgaria, etc.
