She studied Sociology at “St. Cyril and Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo and has
been working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the
Bulgarian Academy of Sciences since 2018. In 2022, she received an award for a young
scientist from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
She completed the “Teaching as a Leader” Program of the “Teach for Bulgaria” Foundation
and has three years of experience as a philosophy teacher.
She holds a PhD in social medicine and healthcare organization from the Medical University
of Sofia and has work experience in programs for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS
and tuberculosis at the Ministry of Health
